Mr. Freeze belts out “Let it Go”.

llamasloveit said: So what was the joke :D

That needs a bit of backstory then:

On the DC Universe Online forum a guy made a thread about how he can’t see it justified that both, the hero and the villains fractions, get the Red Lantern Rage powers to use. That was like the 10th thread about hat topic in the last 2 weeks.
First two answers on that thread where reaction gifs with captions like “not this again”, and later on posts with pretty much the same line.
I posted “A female doesn’t need to be bound by fractions to unleash red RAGE. At least not once a month. :D”

So from all these posts that had NOTHING to do with the topic of introducing Rage powers, it was MY post that gets deleted as “non constructive”.
Judging by the mods answer I got, I guess my post was reported.
A friend hinted that “maybe a female was thinking a geek boy was slagging off a female issue”. But my profile clearly states I’m female.

It pisses me of that ANYBODY would see the need of reporting that, it wasn’t even written to sound disgusting or anything and it’s as natural as going to the toilet. Both man and women shouldn’t feel the need of keeping quit about that topic.

Neither the reporter, nor the mod did take a second to check on my gender, they just didn’t like that someone talked/joked about periods, so it got flagged as non constructive, which is just false pretence as non of the other posts was deleted.

RAGE

Polar Bear hat as it should look like. The in game version doesn’t allow hair to show, which makes everyone appear to be bald wearing it. :/

So apparently a joke I made about periods got deleted on a MMO forum.

It’s fucking 2014 and men still can’t handle the functions of the female body, even as joke?

Oh hey! I bought these and the bunny ones shown under the link too. Seeing better pictures of them now makes me want them to arrive even faster. Come on Postman, I was a good gurl.

'Scuse me. But I think he was right.

A spider did just abseil next to me.

I think my face went into undescribable shapes.

But on a more important note: abseil? lmao

How is that even conjugated?

Normally I find it cute if other languages use German words, but this one…

You made a diagram! Whoa, thank you so much for the explanation, and the drawing is adorable and helpful. I’m going to print it out before I wrap presents this year :)

You’re welcome. It’s cute that you want to know this stuff to wrap your presents all neatly. :>

So it’s a pleasure.

That happens because you are cutting in the ‘machine direction’ of the paper. Which happens during the paper making process. The fibers align to either the flow of the drained water, or paper machine movement.

You can actually choose to have that glide, just make sure to cut along the grain direction.

The more you know!

Whoa, I want to learn this. How can you tell which way the grain goes? Wrapping paper is perfectly flat and shiny. Is there a trick to it?

I’m no expert, I normally do a little test cutting. xD
But there are some methods: tear the paper. A clean tear is in the direction of the fibers, unclear tear is across gain.
Cut out 2 stripes of the same size. One from the x-axis of the paper and one of the y-axis. The one with the grain direction will topple over, while the across gain one will stand more straight.
And sometimes you can see the fibers or signs of the pressing on it if you hold it against a light source.
I’m bad at explaining things, so I made a doodle.

*I’m not a paper nerd

Edit: I forgot a trick. Cut two stripes like in method B and fold then in the middle. Across gain folds are a bit stiff and the stripe more likely is trying to get back into its straight form. In gain direction the two paper faces will stay on each other.
Thats also why some booklets have a rise in the middle. Helpful advice if you are printing your own books, cards or pamphlets.
